We operate the dining room, our in-house catering service and the website https://epichungrydine.com/. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, book a table, order catering, contact us or dine with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

This policy is effective from 1 August 2026. By using our website or services you acknowledge that you have read it. We follow the applicable laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and generally accepted privacy practices.

• Contact details — your name, phone number and email address when you submit a form, call us or message us on WhatsApp.
• Booking details — date, time, number of guests, seating preference, occasion and any notes you share, such as allergies or accessibility needs.
• Catering and event details — venue address, guest count, menu choices and billing contact for events we cater.
• Feedback — reviews, complaints and suggestions you send us.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and time spent on the website.
• Cookie data as described in our Cookie Policy.
• CCTV footage inside and outside the restaurant, recorded for the safety of guests and staff.

We do not collect or store full card numbers. Card, bKash and Nagad payments are processed by the respective banks and payment providers under their own terms.

• To plan, quote, deliver and invoice catering services.

When we share information

How long we keep it

We keep booking records for up to 12 months, catering contracts and invoices for as long as required by tax and accounting rules, and general enquiries for up to 24 months. CCTV footage is normally overwritten within 30 days unless it is needed to investigate an incident. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, a website firewall, spam protection on our forms, limited staff access and regular backups. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we act promptly if we become aware of a problem.
